I am Chad Cooke, a proud resident of Wisconsin, and I have dedicated my life to serving my country and community. I was born in Neenah, Wisconsin, and my early years were marked by frequent moves throughout the Fox Valley, which gave me a unique perspective on the diverse communities within the region.
I graduated from Neenah High School in 1986. After completing my education, I enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a mechanic and a Desert Storm veteran from 1986 to 1992. My time in the military instilled in me a deep sense of discipline and commitment.
Following my military service, I transitioned to a career in corrections, working as an officer and sergeant in Missouri and Wisconsin from 1999 to 2020. My dedication to maintaining safety and order earned me the respect of my colleagues and the community. In addition to my professional achievements, I served a term on the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors, where I worked tirelessly to represent the interests of my constituents. My passion for state politics continues to drive me as I seek to make a positive impact on my community.
I married my wife Christine in 2012, and together we have two daughters, Allison (25) and Melany (32). I am also a proud grandfather to Karma and Jude. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy shooting, saltwater fishing, and staying informed about state politics. My diverse interests and unwavering dedication make me a well-rounded and respected figure in my community.

My Plan
Address Rising Costs and Reduce the Tax Burden:
I know that families across Wisconsin are continuing to feel the squeeze of inflation as they walk down the aisle at the grocery store or fill up their gas tank. That's why I will fight to continue reducing taxes on the middle class, retirees on a fixed income, and those with kids in childcare. We must make sure you are able to keep more of your hard-earned money and stop destructive efforts to raise your taxes.
Support Quality Healthcare:
Wisconsinites deserve access to high-quality healthcare, and I will work to ensure they have it. I support protecting those with pre-existing conditions from losing their health coverage and will work to find additional common-sense solutions to increase access and reduce the cost of care across the state.
Keep the Fox Valley Safe:
We must make sure our streets are safe for our kids and families. As a corrections officer, I have seen how attempts to defund the police and soft-on-crime policies have left the door open for criminals. As your representative in the Assembly, I will work to strengthen our laws to hold criminals accoutable, keep violent offenders off our streets, put a stop to retail theft, and support law enforcement.
Empower Parents and Putting Kids First:
As a father, I know that it's important we ensure kids have the opportunity for a great education. That's why I support reforms to give parents more information, transparency, and options when it comes to their child's education. I also support efforts to ensure our schools have the resources to provide our students with a quality education. I will always push for policies that truly put our kids first.
